About The Opportunity

Pathways to Community Health are seeking a dedicated, organised and efficient administration assistant to join their team.

You will be confident, resourceful and well organised with the ability to multitask in a busy office environment. You will be a great communicator and have exceptional customer service skills. The role involves face to face interaction with clients and you will be empathetic and understanding whilst remaining professional. You will have outstanding time management skills and be able to work within a large administration team ensuring common goals and work priorities are met.

The administration officer will work from Campbelltown and Liverpool however may be required to work or visit various sites across our district.

Pathways to Community Living Initiative (PCLI) is a state-wide approach to supporting consumers with enduring and serious mental illnesses who have had long stays or are at risk of a long stay to re-establish their lives in the community. The PCLI program is shaping complex care and community rehabilitation in mental health services across NSW.

What you'll be doing

This position will provide efficient and effective administrative support for the Mental Health service district-wide Pathways to community living initiative (PCLI) team. The position will maintain relevant office systems, PCLI Ministry of Health database records and maintain a high quality, customer-focused service.

How to Apply

To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.

Experience in reception duties and in providing high-quality administrative support in a community-based organisation or health/medical facility
Demonstrated ability to communicate respectfully and openly at a high level, both in verbal and written communication.
Ability to compose documents to draft stage including taking accurate meeting minutes and drafting general correspondence
Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently with time constraints.
Proficient computer, database entry and typing skills and demonstrated ability to use and learn relevant computer programs/databases.
Understanding of confidentiality and privacy issues.
Demonstrated experience in providing exceptional customer service within a team environment
Current unrestricted Australian drivers licence (P2 Licence Acceptable) subject to obtaining NSW drivers licence within 3 months of appointment.
