The Role

We currently have opportunities for students or recent graduates of the Adv. Diploma in Civil Construction Design to join our NSW team. This program aims to give on the job mentoring in civil or structural drafting as part of a top tier engineering consultancy. Supported by senior drafters, you will grow your drafting skills and be directly involved in project deliverables on some of Australia's largest projects that will support our nation's growing population for generations to come. We have positions available in Sydney, Newcastle and Canberra supporting our Rail and Roads & Highways businesses. There will also be an opportunity for a permanent position with SMEC following successful completion of this program.

About You

Suitable applicants will have/be:

• Currently completing or recently graduated from the Advanced Diploma in Civil Construction Design (RII60520)
• Demonstrable interest in civil or structural drafting
• Demonstrated knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit software packages
• Enthusiasm to learn and ability to collaborate in a team environment
