Position Description

Smart Energy is extremely proud of the company they’ve built so far (not to mention humbled to be awarded the Best Customer Service Project by the Customer Service Institute of Australia last year). Their Smart Care after-service is one of Smart Energy’s biggest competitive advantages and is looking to strengthen its offering by welcoming a new “Smartie” to join its Technical team.

  • You will be working from their air-conditioned Byron Bay office in a full-time role as Junior Electrician.
  • This is an exciting opportunity for you to get off the tools or roof!

Every day, you’ll be:

  • Completing pre and post-installation desktop QA checks
  • Helping the installers on the phone with basic on-site issues
  • Pushing maintenance jobs through the pipeline efficiently
  • Educating their legendary sales team and answering their questions 
  • This role will report to the Senior Technical Manager.

You must have:

  • Completed at least 2 years of an electrical apprenticeship (or equivalent)
  • Bonus points:
    • Fully qualified electrician
    • CEC install/design accreditation
    • Experience on the roof
