Junior Electrician / Solar Technician - TAFE Students Preferred null

Position Description

Their Smart Care after-service is one of Smart Energy’s biggest competitive advantages and is looking to strengthen its offering by welcoming a new “Smartie” to join its Technical team.

• You will be working from their air-conditioned Byron Bay office in a full-time role as Junior Electrician.
• This is an exciting opportunity for you to get off the tools or roof!

Every day, you’ll be:

• Completing pre and post-installation desktop QA checks
• Helping the installers on the phone with basic on-site issues
• Pushing maintenance jobs through the pipeline efficiently
• Educating their legendary sales team and answering their questions 
• This role will report to the Senior Technical Manager.

You must have:

• Completed at least 2 years of an electrical apprenticeship (or equivalent)
• Bonus points:
  • Fully qualified electrician
  • CEC install/design accreditation
  • Experience on the roof
