Slater and Gordon Lawyers have an exciting opportunity for student client support team members to join the Class Actions practice group in Melbourne or Sydney CBD, working within their growing Client Engagement Team. These positions will be on a casual basis and will require a minimum commitment of three days a week. There will be an opportunity to work additional days at peak periods, including weekends.
The Class Actions team run claims on behalf of large groups of people, facing similar issues who ordinarily may be unable to access legal services on their own. Class actions run by the practice are diverse in nature and include shareholders, trusts, human rights, medical devices and bushfire claims.
These particular student client support roles are working on a dedicated project to administer the settlement of three Consumer Credit Card Insurance class actions settled by Slater and Gordon against major Australian banks on behalf of over 1 million everyday Australians who are eligible to participate as group members.
You will work as a member of a dedicated team of student client support team members to respond to group member enquiries in relation to the settlement administration. You will receive comprehensive training on how to respond to group member enquiries and are not required to be studying a legal qualification to apply for these roles.

You will be currently studying in the second year or above toward a bachelor’s degree, or a graduate or post-graduate qualification (any discipline). You will be experienced in customer service or administration roles and interested in working on a project to deliver class action settlement funds to hundreds of thousands of everyday Australian consumers.
