Your role

Slater and Gordon Lawyers have a great opportunity for a Law Clerk to join their growing Workers Compensation team in the Newcastle office. This is a great opportunity for a 2nd-year law student. They are open to flexible work arrangements with a minimum availability of 3 days a week. 

This role will have you responsible for providing support to their busy team, with ongoing training and development. Your daily duties will include:

  • Providing a great level of care and support to our clients in a professional manner
  • Communicating with clients, insurers and other professionals both in writing and verbally
  • Preparing legal correspondence and compiling court documents
  • Review, analyse and summarise medical records and other documents
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant rules and regulations 
  • Working closely with the legal teams to advance legal matters for clients
