Your role

Slater + Gordon has 2 entry-level vacancies in their Geelong office. These roles are great for anyone looking to start their career in legal support!  As a Trainee Junior Legal Assistant, you will join the National Work & Road team supporting either the Workers Compensation or the Motor Vehicle Accidents team. Both opportunities are on a full-time basis. They are open to hybrid work arrangements on completion of sufficient training.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one administrative support to the busy team, with ongoing training and development. Your daily duties will include:

  • Providing a great level of care and support to clients in a professional manner
  • Supporting the lawyer and team with general file management and administration
  • Coordinating appointments for the lawyers and medico-legal appointments for clients
  • Communicating with clients, insurers and other professionals both in writing and verbally
  • Compiling court documents
  • Reception duties as required

Compensation & benefits

According to a third-party source, the estimated total pay range for a Junior Legal Assistant is AUD 53,000 to AUD 66,000 per year, encompassing both base salary and additional pay.
