Bachelor's Degree (Law)
Dual Degree (Science, Commerce, IT, Arts) is highly desirable
Strong Academic Achievement
Previous Experience
Strong customer service experience (particularly in a part-time casual role)
Any advocacy, social justice or volunteer work experience
Experience in a community-based legal environment is highly desirable
Previous leadership positions: Student Unions, Societies or Not for Profit organisations

Develop sound knowledge and understanding of the case law across the practice groups.
Actively develop skills and knowledge by shadowing an experienced practitioner.
Learn the key skills to identify relevant legal issues and consider a range of solutions and preferred outcomes.
Develop sound knowledge and understanding of court rules and procedures and their application in the litigation process.
Learn and understand how to manage client expectations, seeking guidance from a senior lawyer where appropriate.
Work with senior lawyers, counsel and external experts as required to clarify and resolve complex legal issues.
Understand and learn how to relay Fair Go Funding advice to clients in a clear and informative manner, promptly addressing any client queries or concerns.
Learn to draft and produce quality letters of advice.
Develop strong and trusted relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally in the legal market.
