To deliver on our mission, we provide eCommerce and Coworking Hubs, a same-day delivery service, a micro fulfilment centre and SaaS software. We’re a team that’s driven to create innovative products, a sustainable planet, and sustainable society.

About The Role

You’ll join a buzzing coworking hub in Alexandria filled with a huge range of Australian start-up businesses to support our sales manager by selling our coworking spaces and on-site events. Promote, organise and champion our on-site events. This includes community members events, client events in our beautiful auditorium space & Miscreants Café area, and use of our meeting room spaces, photography studio and podcast studio. You’ll also support our sales manager to liaise with prospective members, providing them with a high-quality experience as they learn about the space and opportunities we offer.

In this role you will:

  • Follow up with sales leads and client feedback, providing prospective clients information on our spaces and events.
  • Client management and customer support – be the go-to person to support the delivery of successful events for internal and external clients.
  • Support with event planning and creative ideas.
  • Operational set up and organisation prior, during and post-event – in attendance at all events.
  • Conduct site inspections, and creating detailed event orders.
  • Being responsible of all incoming leads and work with the Sales Manager to qualify.
  • Maintain CRM (customer relationship management software).
  • Upsell our catering services and different event spaces.
  • Liaising with the marketing team on event promotions, communications and branding.
  • Work cooperatively with the Hospitality, Community and Sales teams.
  • Problem solve any issues.
  • Conduct follow-up correspondence with clients and respond to feedback.
  • Conduct building tours for prospective clients where required.
  • Respond to space hire/rental enquiries, supporting the Sales Manager.
  • Working directly with preferred suppliers where required.
  • Sales administration assistance.
  • Where relevant, prepare budgets, agreements and invoices.

We think you will need:

  • Experience within the sales, events, coworking, catering or hospitality industries will benefit but is not essential
  • Desire to work proactively promoting the business and opportunities
  • Desire to be a hands-on team player
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent time management - the ability to prioritise tasks and multi-task
  • Ability to work under pressure and problem solve quickly and independently
  • A desire to provide exceptional customer service experiences
  • A people person - feel energised by liaising with a wide variety of people
  • Highly driven - Motivation and the ability to get stuff done
