When you fulfill an order you are supporting a small Australian owned business to thrive. You will get to see and meet the companies making the products that you are fulfilling and feel a part of something bigger.

About The Role

In this role you will:

• Receive and put away inventory
• Get customer orders ready and pack them up
• Load boxes into trucks for shipment
• Use scanners to read bar codes on products
• View prompts on screens and follow the direction for some tasks
• Troubleshoot problems
• Ensure product meets quality requirements
• Operate power industrial trucks (PIT) such as a forklift or pallet driver, and work at heights up to 35 feet. Equipment training and certification are provided free of cost.

We also think you’ll need to be able to:

• Lift boxes - utilising trolleys or lifts where they are heavy
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
• Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
• Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
• Work at a height of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine (where applicable)
• Adhere to strict safety, quality, and fulfilment production standards
• Have fun! Enjoy your work and your colleagues

Some tasks will require standing in one place for extended periods of time on average 5-6 hours, while others involve walking around the facility, including climbing stairs – comfortable, closed-toed shoes are a must!

What it's like at SKUTOPIA’s Micro Fulfillment Center

Safety. Your safety is vital to us, so we provide protective gear. You will wear the appropriate personal protective equipment, stretch, provide safety tips, and recognize each other for working safely.

Surroundings. You’ll be working around moving machines – manual pallet jacks, forklifts, and mobile carts.

Activity. Some activities may require standing in one place for long periods, walking around, or climbing stairs.

Temperature. Even with climate controls, temperatures can vary between 25°C and 35°C in some parts of the warehouse; on hot days, temperatures can be over 35°C in some parts of the warehouse.

Noise level. It can get noisy at times. We provide hearing protection if you need it.

Dress code. Safety Shoes are a must. Supplied polo shirt and pants.

We think you will need:

• Must have the right to work in Australia and be based in Sydney
• Age 18 or older
• Basic Computer experience
• Good communication skills - able to assist team members
• Innovative problem solving skills and thinking outside the box
• Positive ‘can-do’ attitude in achieving results
