SGCH is looking for a passionate Community Engagement Assistant to join our Customers team in the South West Sydney region, on a full-time basis until 28 October 2022.

As a Community Engagement Assistant, you help deliver community development and placemaking activities that aim to empower social housing tenants to be more involved in their local community. 

In this role, you will connect with our customers to:

  • provide responsive and respectful customer-centric services
  • support community development and placemaking activities designed to meet the needs of social housing community
  • provide administrative support for tenant meetings and placemaking activities, including Minute taking
  • organise and attend tenant community events and activities
  • enhance tenant health and wellbeing through placemaking and partnership practices
  • accurately input and manage tenant information and data in set timeframes.

The successful candidate for this role will have:

  • excellent customer service skills
  • experience in a busy and demanding administrative environment
  • current NSW driving license
  • experience delivering team outcomes
  • ability to work independently
  • strong administrative and time management skills.
