Quality Officer - TAFE Students Preferred null

To conduct an inspection of goods coming from suppliers; provide inspection reports; coordinate & process paperwork for receipting & stock booking through Purchase & Warehouse; assist in the quarantine of non-conforming goods by liaising with Warehouse & Purchase sections; support QA department in the deployment of QA system and procedures. This role ensures that all products comply with the relevant specifications as set out by the company.

• Inspect both imports and locally manufactured products to ensure that they meet quality standards
• Perform tests for quality control of products
• Disassemble product parts to inspect them individually
• Monitor production operations to ensure conformance to company specifications
• Direct assembly adjustments to ensure processes reflect quality standards
• Communicate the results of inspections and put forward corrective suggestions
• Write reports to document deficiencies and errors of products

For qualifications

• School leaver's certificate required
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• Logic and attention to detail
• Proven history of understanding industry safety standards and quality expectations

Training and development are provided on all aspects of the role.
