Recruitment Process

What is the recruitment process?

The recruitment process remains very similar for the majority of roles offered at Scalabrini. Once you have submitted your application through our online recruitment system, your application will be reviewed by the relevant recruitment team member sourcing for the role. They will assess your suitability for the role to determine your match to the key selection criteria.

Following this initial screening, you will be contacted by the relevant recruitment team member to kickstart your interviewing process. This exercise allows us to get to know you better and determine whether you would be the right fit at one of our six villages. You can expect to answer questions about your skills, experience and character.

After successfully completing the interview process, pre-employment checks are conducted. These include employment references, working rights in Australia and a Criminal History Check as per the Aged Care Act 1997.

Succeeding the above, a verbal offer will be made to you by the recruitment team member. You will then be able to view the formal written offer via Scalabrini's online candidate portal. This portal allows you to view the offer details and employment conditions. After the offer is accepted, we move onto our onboarding process at the selected Scalabrini village.
