Job Summary

As a trade qualified baker you will:

• Start at as early as 6am for morning shift and 12pm for afternoon shift.
• Set up and monitor Equipment on production lines
• Communicate with other departments regarding production orders
• Coordinate with others to prioritize production to ensure on time delivery of orders
• Solve problems arising on your shift, and inform management
• Encourage and promote teamwork
• Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

The successful applicant will have:

• Certificate III in Retail Baking (Combined) or equivalent
• Ability to work well with others
• An understanding of HACCP and OH&S procedures
• Excellent communication skills
• Intermediate Computer skills
• Have a reliable form of transport
• Experience in a high volume bakery is desirable
• Experience with high tech bakery machinery is preferred

The Baker's position will start on a casual basis leading to a full time position if you fit the team after a 6 month trial period. We are currently seeking a Bakers and Bakers Hands who can cover our Day shift starting at either 6am or 8.30am and Afternoon shift starting at 12pm or 2pm on a 4 shift per week roster.

Salary: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year

• 10 hour shift
• Afternoon shift
