Satake Australia Pty Ltd is responsible for Satake Corporation’s Group activities in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. The company has been operational in Australia since Satake purchased the British company ‘Robinson Milling Systems in around 1992. Robinson Milling Systems having been formed from the amalgamation of Henry Simon & Thomas Robinson companies several years before Satake’s takeover. Simon and Robinson were both one-hundred-year-old flour mill engineering companies.
Satake Australia Pty Ltd's head office and Process division is located in Penrith, Western Sydney and Silo division is located in Allora, Queensland and employs around 100 people. The company consists of Engineering, Sales, installation, Administration and Service departments as well as operating our fabrication workshop. There is also an extensive spare part holding warehouse.
Within the Satake Australia workshop, they build machinery that is specific to the Australian market demands and where isn’t produced in bulk by other international companies. Having their workshop facilities allows them to quickly fabricate spare parts and promotes additional service backup at a local level. Satake Australia works with key local suppliers of OEM equipment, such as motors, gearboxes, belts, etc to ensure clients’ plant performs and continues to perform to their expectations.
Satake Australia service and support a lot of older equipment within their territory, many of the flour and feed mills were more than thirty years old, with spare parts still being offered for machines over seventy years old. This is a good indicator of the service levels that Satake can provide as well as a testament to the longevity of the equipment that our company produces.
