Fundraising Coordinator - New England Region Hybrid role - Gunnedah, Tamworth, Armidale and Tenterfield regions – local residents only

This exciting development enables us to combine our efforts, expand our reach, and further extend our vital services to animals in need throughout the New England region. From desexing and emergency vet assistance programs, advocacy to education, we are committed to improving the lives of all creatures great and small.

Are you passionate about animal welfare and looking for a rewarding volunteer opportunity? Do you have a knack for organising and rallying support from your community? RSPCA NSW is looking for a dedicated Volunteer Fundraising Coordinator to join our team and help us make a difference in the lives of animals in Armidale, Tenterfield, Gunnedah, Tamworth, and beyond.

What does the role look like?

As the Volunteer fundraising coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission and contributing to our organisational success. Your responsibilities will include:

  • drive fundraising initiatives in your local community and beyond
  • connect with local partners and organisations to collaborate
  • assist the committee with adhoc tasks where needed
  • join occasional meetings online to connect with the committee
  • ensure all RSPCA NSW guidelines, policies and procedures are followed

What are the requirements?

As a Volunteer Fundraising Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting RSPCA NSW's fundraising efforts. Key qualifications include:

  • Resident of the New England Region
  • Key strengths in organising and coordinating fundraising events and initiatives
  • Liaising with volunteers to assist with fundraising activities
  • Cultivating relationships with community partners
  • Organisational skills
  • Confident in attending teams/zoom meetings
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Integrity and trustworthiness
  • Positive attitude
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Eagerness to understand and support the mission of RSPCA NSW

Time Commitment 

We’re looking for people who can volunteer up to 15 hours per month, however we know that this role will take less of a commitment than that.
