From desexing and emergency vet assistance programs, advocacy to education, we are committed to improving the lives of all creatures great and small.

Are you passionate about animal welfare and looking for a rewarding volunteer opportunity? Look no further! The RSPCA New England Supporter Group is seeking a dedicated Volunteer Coordinator to lead our team and help us make a difference in the lives of animals in Armidale, Tenterfield, Gunnedah, Tamworth, and beyond.

What does the role look like?

As Volunteer Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission by leading the supporter group to ensure everyone is contributing to our organisational success as a team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • lead and evaluate the work of the committee, members and volunteers
  • chair meetings effectively
  • provide ongoing support to members and volunteers
  • drive fundraising and programs with the group
  • conduct dispute resolution with internal and external stakeholders
  • support and communicate the RSPCA NSW strategic goals, and volunteer branch direction in the local community
  • ensure all RSPCA NSW guidelines, policies and procedures are followed
