2022 Grounds Keeper - TAFE students preferred null

We are looking for a passionate Grounds Keeper to assist all aspects of grounds maintenance.

Your responsibilities and duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Maintenance of lawns adhering to seasonal changes.
• Follow a grounds maintenance schedule during peak and off-peak times to ensure the lawns and gardens are kept in top condition.
• Treating weeds, pests and diseases, irrigation control and fertilizing lawn.
• Knowledge of plants essential.
• General cleanliness of common areas, gardens, lawns, and paths.
• Use and maintenance of machinery.

Candidates with the following skills and experience are encouraged to apply:

• A strong background in turf management within a resort, school, council, golf course or other sports environment
• Be able to work autonomously, with the ability to prioritise tasks as well as have flexibility to manage time and ad hoc requests.
• Hands-on, hardworking approach with high attention to detail.
• Personable with a can-do attitude.
• Knowledge and able to use multiple pieces of machinery and equipment.
• Demonstrated flexibility and the ability to adapt to any situation.
