The Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron is a private member Sailing Club. The Squadron grounds, facilities and services are provided for the enjoyment and utilization of Members and invited guests in their company.
The Squadron is so much more than a sailing club, it is a community.
Many of our Intermediate Members work as coaches in our Sailing Academy; some of our Members' grown-up children work as waiters in the restaurants or in the Boatshed; and several of our Staff sail in Members' boats in our Club racing.
Members and their guests can enjoy superb meals accompanied by glorious harbour views.
The Dining Room is our a la carte restaurant and the Careening Cove Anchorage offers casual meals.
Members may host private functions in our smaller dining rooms.
The Squadron has a number of accommodation options available for Members and their guests and also visiting members of other affiliated clubs from both interstate and overseas.
Our Award-winning cellar offers a hand-picked, unique selection of wines from around the world, stored in a temperature-controlled environment. Our friendly, wine-loving staff are here to help you choose, whether you're looking for a mid-week quaffer or a celebration vintage.
Gourmet Traveller Magazine has awarded us its highest accolade of three Goblets for ten consecutive years – a rating we share with Rockpool, Tetsuya's, Aria and Bentley Restaurant and Bar.
