About the role..

Exciting opportunity for a talented HR Administrator to become a key member of our strong and dynamic HR Team. Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for all aspects of administration, and collaborating closely with our managers and team members to make a positive difference in the care sector. 

The successful incumbent will support the end-to-end HR administration processes, deliver the HR Team’s goals relating to onboarding, probation, induction, payroll support and general assistance with ad hoc tasks or projects as required. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage employee and contractor onboarding and administration in an efficient manner.
  • Liaising with new employees and hiring managers.
  • Prepare and issue new employee contracts.
  • Daily maintenance of employee personnel files and maintenance of the HRIS system, and e-filing.
  • Accurately submit, review and update our HRIS in relation to workforce screening (e.g. National Police Checks, Working with Children Checks) for all employees and contractors.
  • Actively participate in all other tasks as directed by your manager.

About you

Essential criteria:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year’s experience in a related role.
  • Demonstrated experience working within a high-volume environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisation skills and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively liaise with internal management and other key business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, accurately and to stringent deadlines.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • High-level of computer literacy and experience working with a HRIS and/or Payroll/Rostering system.

Desirable criteria:

  • Working knowledge of the Health and/or Non-for-Profit industry and associated industrial awards/enterprise agreements.
