Cook - Part time - TAFE Students Preferred null

Rise & Shine Kindergarten Rydalmere is looking for an experienced Child Care Centre Cook. Our meal-time practice is centered around social development with Alfresco dining shared for Educators and Children, strengthening a family-like environment where children flourish.

You can enjoy working Part-time hours 8:30 am - 1:30 pm in this role.

The right Child Care Centre Cook will have:

• A current food handling & nutrition qualifications
• Creativity and passion to apply nutritional guidelines to tantalising meal experiences
• Knowledge of safe hygiene practices
• Current Working with children check
• Strong experience designing menus and cooking meals that come from the heart and meet guidelines

Duties will include:

• Menu Planning in consultation with allergy/ intolerances and nutritional guidelines
• Food ordering & preparation
• Guiding the Kitchen Hand
• Maintaining a clean and hygienic environment
