Job Description

The Operations team partners closely with ResMed’s five business leaders to understand their needs and then provide a variety of products and services to help them meet those needs including Customer and Technical Services, Global Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, manufacturing, and logistics and distribution. Focused on enabling new product introduction and operating excellence, our team strives to improve time to market for new products and services, improve efficiencies in our cross-functional processes, and improve our supply chain through digitization and automation to increase value add to our customers.

Let's talk about Responsibilities: 

• Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with our new and existing suppliers and business groups to ensure continuity of ongoing operations, improve product quality, and optimize operational efficiency.
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve supplier quality issues in a timely and systematic fashion.
• Ensure suppliers follow robust change management processes to maintain and improve product quality and production performance.
• Identify supplier-related problems and improvement opportunities. Perform root-cause investigation, and implement corrective actions to improve supplier performance.
• Timely communication of supplier issues that affect product quality and delivery capability to the relevant stakeholders across the organization.
• Support supplier audit activities and assess process capability as required.
• Ensure thorough knowledge of ResMed’s Quality system to work within established policies and procedures, compliance with GMP, regulatory requirements, and other business systems.
• Develop Engineering skills to lead problem-solving activities for the technologies being used in ResMed’s products.
• Provide technical leadership, support, and guidance to Supplier Quality Engineers
• Continually develop industry knowledge to assist in the development and sharing of best practices
• Maintain lessons learned from various investigations to assist in the development and sharing of best practice
• Other duties as assigned and required

Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience

• Degree qualification in Engineering.
• Min 1 to 3 years experience in Process Engineering, Manufacturing, and/or Quality Assurance.
• Considerable experience in managing print/labeling and packaging and/or textiles will be an added advantage.
• Intensely curious to think outside of the box, challenge the norms, collaborative, customer-focused, and innovative ‘growth’ mindset.
• Analytical ability with excellent relationship management skills.
• Good written and verbal communication and documentation skills.
• Self-starter and solution-focused with the ability to work with minimal supervision and with a sense of urgency.
• Good understanding of ISO 13485 Quality standards/regulations.
