CNC Machinist - TAFE Student preferred null

ResMed is leading the way in cloud-connected medical devices that transform care for people with sleep apnea, COPD and other chronic diseases. Within the Precision Tooling department, we are working to deliver high quality LSR injection moulds to our internal customers using the latest industrial technology.

This role is for CNC machinists who want to take their machining skills to the next level making highly complex and challenging components. You will be responsible for the design, manufacture, and assembly of high quality, high output production tools.

Who we are looking for

• Tradesperson in toolmaking or fitter machinist
• CNC machining experience. 5 axis experience advantageous
• CAD/CAM experience in 3D geometry. Powermill advantageous
• Willingness to undertake new and exciting challenges
• Strong attention to detail
• A team player who is also happy to challenge the status quo

Job tasks and responsibilities

• Regular CAM Programming
• Operate CNC machines and other precision machining equipment
• Provide feedback for design revisions, giving input on manufacturing requirements
• Engaging with external suppliers
• Record and document processes
