About the Role:

We are currently seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a general understanding of accounting and finance terms, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency. The successful candidate will be responsible for our company's receivables and payables, and internal accounting-related duties.

This is a permanent full-time position and you must have the right to work in Australia on a full-time basis.

For current students, job arrangements can be part-time if appropriate and successful applicants must be able to work full-time within 4 months from job commencement.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Perform bank reconciliations and analyse discrepancies
  • Prepare and file BAS lodgement and other compliance documents
  • Report preparation
  • Ad hoc duties

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office tools
  • Understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and efficiency
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin/Cantonese is preferred

Salary: 

$50,000 + Super
