Red Robin Kindergarten is a warm and friendly 40 place Early Childhood Care and Education service, with a great home-like feel. We provide for children aged 2 years to School Age.

We are seeking an amazing Diploma Qualified Educator who is passionate and dedicated to joining our team here at Red Robin as a Lead Educator. You MUST be available Monday to Friday.

Start Date: Immediate.

Responsibilities:

  • Will be required to be a Lead Educator and effectively lead a team of educators and manage a room.
  • Lead and implement the educational program, contributing to programming and planning following the Early Years Learning Framework for Australia. All programming is done through an online program, KindyHub.
  • Planning, implementing and creating exciting learning experiences and environments for the children
  • Daily communication with families and other staff
  • Adhering to centre policies and procedures
  • Ensuring the safety and welfare of the children at all times.
  • Contribute to the day to day operations of the service
  • Will be required to be the Responsible Person at the service at times

Essential Criteria:

  • MUST hold Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Previous Experience as a Room Leader is preferred, but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of the EYLF
  • Knowledge of NQF and the National Law & Regulations
  • Asthma & Anaphylaxis Training (preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Have a willingness to show initiative and be proactive
  • A passion for Early Childhood Education and Care

The successful candidates must undergo and pass a working with children's check.
