Ready Steady Go Kids Castle Hill is looking for super coaches/sports instructors to run our award winning multi-sport program for kids 1.5-6 years of age. We are the largest and most popular multi-sport program in Australia. 10 different sports are taught and classes are run indoors at our Castle Hill indoor sports centre.
Position responsibilities include:
- Ensure the Ready Steady Go Kids program is delivered optimally in relevant locations.
- Represent Ready Steady Go Kids at all times in a professional manner.
- Ensure class set-up is performed prior to class commencement including placement of approved signage.
- Instruct the Ready Steady Go Kids program that has been designed in a fun, educational and safe manner.
- Provide constructive, honest feedback on the progress of classes to the management team at Ready Steady Go Kids.
- Ensure codes of behaviour and rules are displayed adequately and adhered to.
- Ensure all equipment is in excellent condition at relevant locations. Report any missing or damaged equipment to Ready Steady Go Kids Franchise Owner immediately.
- Ensure all children in class are correctly enrolled in the program are wearing the RSGK uniform.
- Advise Ready Steady Go Kids Franchise Owner of non-attendees for each class each day.
- Ensure the checklist of what is to be covered in each class is completed for each class.
- Report any incidents or feedback to Ready Steady Go Kids Franchise Owner within 12 hours of occurrence.
- Ensure any forms or handouts (for example Newsletters) are distributed to parents when requested by Ready Steady Go Kids Franchise Owner
- Carry out additional reasonable tasks requested by Ready Steady Go Kids Franchise Owner on an ad-hoc basis.
- Ensure you have a current and valid Working with Children’s check.
- Ensure that you have completed the Level 1 Coaching Principles course and follow the correct training manuals. Attendance at any Ready Steady Go Kids training is compulsory.
Training, development and rotations:
- All on-court training and training manuals will be provided.
- Coaching top and name badge will be provided and must be worn at all times during classes.
- Attendance of regular training sessions are required.
- Opportunities for career progression available to the right person.
- Set working days and times, with the occasional ad-hoc days and opportunities to run birthday parties.
Renumeration:
- Hourly rate in accordance with Modern Award MA000094 - Fitness Industry Award 2010 – Level 2.
- Casual employment contract

- Coaching, childcare and teaching qualifications are highly desirable but not essential as full on-court training will be provided to the right candidate.
- Must have a valid working with children check or be able to obtain one.
- Only candidates who are able to work weekends (saturday and sunday) will be considered.
