About the Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for a person who is motivated, has a ‘can do’ attitude and a willingness to learn and develop in the role, the company and the irrigation industry.

The role is best suited to someone who is seeking to embark on a career as a Sales and Service Technician, with full training provided.

 As you grow into the role your responsibilities will include:

 Working in the retail outlet and in the field as required.

• Provide retail assistance to customers and point of sale transactions.
• Help to maintain a well-presented and fully stocked retail sales area and receipting of stock orders.
• Installation and maintenance of irrigation systems.
• Prepare quotations and assist customers with product selections and designs.
• Ability to adapt, troubleshoot and problem solve in the field.
• Service & maintenance of domestic pumps (training provided).
• Build customer relationships.
• Occasional travel and staying away.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will ideally possess:

• A friendly personality with a great interpersonal approach.
• Willingness to learn and develop in the role.
• Previous experience with irrigation/agricultural equipment (preferred not essential).
• Effective communication, time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work in all outdoor environments.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work well autonomously and as part of a team.
• Hold or be willing to obtain a forklift licence (desirable).
• A valid driver’s licence or willingness to obtain when eligible.
• A demonstrated safety-first mindset.

You will also need to be willing and available to work on a rotating Saturday retail roster (8am- 11.00am – during the warmer months of the year). 

A medical physical assessment along with a drug & alcohol screen is a pre-employment requirement.
