About the Opportunity

Due to consistent growth across our business, we are now seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our high performing team in Broadmeadow NSW 2292.

Your responsibilities in this role will include:

• Reading and interpreting job specifications, technical drawings and schematics
• Operating heavy machinery, hand tools and lifting equipment
• Making sketches or manufacturing parts to drawings
• Maintain equipment, tools and work area
• Maintain documentation and service records as per procedure
• Direct and mentor trades assistants and apprentices where required
• Achieve chargeable labour recovery and work centre recovery targets
• Perform work safely and comply with WHS procedures.

About You

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

• Relevant trade qualification and knowledge of machining
• Knowledge of CNC programming and operations
• Ability to manufacture components and prepare and plan for jobs
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Valid drivers licence and demonstrated safety first mind-set.
