Position Description

Your role

The role is based in Queanbeyan with the option to work in Braidwood and/or Bungendore.

  • Revenue Officer
  • Full-time – Ongoing
  • Position Number: 10008
  • Location: Queanbeyan

Benefits:

  • The Package: $1,230.63 - $1,359.82 gross per week + 10.5% superannuation (Evaluated as Grade 8 of the QPRC Salary System 2022). 
  • Full-time – 35 hours per week. Flex time conditions may apply.        

Position Overview:

  • Using the Council's rate system, the revenue officer will support the rates team by providing accurate information to customers on rates and water issues.  
  • Through face-to-face contact, written correspondence, phone, and email, the revenue officer will ensure rates and charges are issued accurately, and in accordance with relevant legislation and policies. 

Who they are looking for:

  • The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service, with an aim to contribute to organisational and team outcomes.
  • They will also be proficient in time management, written and oral communication, and the use of the Microsoft Suite of programs.
  • Qualifications in Local Government Rating or experience in a similar role are highly desirable.
