Read moreWe have an exciting permanent vacancy for a Fitter and Turner on Day Shifts available, to be the go-to person for all technical settings and adjustments on our packaging lines.
To be successful the following is required:
- Entry-level experience in line setting, changeovers, fault finding and repairs.
- Successful completion in a mechanical trade certification or equivalent
- Knowledge of GMP guidelines and requirements.
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical along with regular drug and alcohol tests.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Focused with “can do” attitude.
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as in unsupervised situations.
- A dedicated attitude to following OH&S policies and procedures.
Duties included but not limited to:
- Setting up production lines and managing changeovers in a timely manner.
- Fault find, repair and troubleshoot machines.
- Setting and stripping production machinery.
- Overseeing production and packing workflow.
- Maintaining Health and Safety as well as Quality standards at all times.
- Maintaining plant equipment.
Prerequisites:
- A Mechanical Trade Certificate or Certificate III in Engineering essential.
