There is NO PAY – in exchange for the work is 2 months of free accommodation (bills included) in a newly built studio on Dangar Island. Food Not provided. Once clearing is done, the cost of new plants if needed will be met by me.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Gardener/Landscaper to restore our garden to its former glory. The property slopes down to the Hawkesbury River, providing an exciting landscaping opportunity. We are looking for a low-maintenance garden design with a small vegetable garden. In addition to gardening tasks, some yard work is required, including sweeping, cleaning outside paths, and washing the exterior of the house using water.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Restore the garden to its former state.
2. Create a low-maintenance garden design.
3. Plant appropriate vegetation along the sloping property towards the Hawkesbury River.
4. Establish a small vegetable garden.
5. Utilize tools available on the property for gardening tasks.
6. Perform yard work, including sweeping and cleaning of outside paths.
7. Wash the exterior of the house using water.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in gardening and landscaping.
• Knowledge of plant selection and garden design.
• Ability to create and maintain a low-maintenance garden.
• Experience in vegetable garden cultivation is a plus.
