As the administration and office support/operations assistant you will be part of a team that works collaboratively with others employees of the bank providing administrative and operational support.

What will you be doing? 

You will be the central contact point for office management and services at our main office. You will also be responsible for consistently providing high level customer service both face to face and over the phone and by email; ensuring enquiries are dealt with in a professional, efficient and friendly manner.

Your key accountabilities:

  • Provide professional service to all entering the building,
  • Ensure all visitor compliance is adhered to the Bank’s process, policy and procedures,
  • Ensure all mail collection and distribution activities are completed according to documented procedures and established timeframes,
  • Supply of amenities and services to the facility,
  • Provide SME support for the document management system and develop a monitoring system to ensure document imaging tasks are up to date,
  • Operational support to assist with duties such as Insurance, PPSR and Ledger reconciliation, data cleansing and other duties to assist Operations teams,
  • Comply all processing and documentation with documented timeframes and procedures,
  • Use effective and appropriate communication skills in handling all enquiries and ensuring appropriate referral and follow-up,
  • General office management tasks and reporting as required,
  • Provide superior internal service in the execution of all tasks by displaying courtesy and responsiveness,
  • Maintain a positive attitude in all communications with other Bank employees,
  • Conduct all activities in a safe manner, caring for themselves, Members, Contractors and visitors,
  • Undertake other duties as required by your manager or their delegate,
  • Adhere to all WHS requirements of the organisation and relevant associated legislation.

What is essential for this role?

  • Higher School Certificate
  • 1-3 years work experience in a related or similar role
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Demonstrated willingness to embrace organisational change including the use of modern technology and an ability to analyse and problem-solve in the context of change and continuous improvement.
