ABOUT THE ROLE

PHE Mining is seeking highly motivated, safety-focused electricians to join our Bathurst team on a permanent, full-time basis. We encourage candidates from Bathurst and nearby towns such as Orange, Blayney and surrounding areas to apply as well as those willing to relocate. The role is based at Newmont’s Cadia Valley Operations, near Orange in NSW.

Based in the central tablelands in the heart of Gold Country, PHE’s Bathurst operations undertakes small and large scale project work at many of Australia’s largest hard rock mines. The role involves industrial electrical and instrumentation installations at the Cadia mine on rosters that balance regular overtime and time at home.

The ideal candidate will possess a NSW electrical licence, and be comfortable working in an underground mining environment.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful you will have the following skills and experience:

• NSW Electrical Licence
• Certificate III Electrotechnology
• High Risk Work License - WP Class
• C Class Driver's Licence
• White Construction Card
• Working at Heights current within 2 years
• Hold or be able to obtain a National Police Clearance
• Excellent attitude to safety
• Flexible attitude to work within all our crews and mentor our apprentices
