Your role

Due to continued business growth and an increasing pipeline of projects they are looking for a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join the team. This new role will see you accountable for the delivery of design completion and defect artefacts in accordance with the practical completion delivery programme. Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to meet tight deadlines will be critical in this role, ensuring work is completed right the first time.

In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in the preparation of documentation for project works using standard drafting procedures with CAD equipment & software.
  • Prepare technical documentation, carry out site inspections, markup drawings and backdraft as required
  • Provide detailed designs, specifications and calculations in consultation with senior Engineers
  • Reporting and progress tracking within relevant registers for meeting and communication with management and relevant stakeholders
  • Providing input into the necessary documentation applicable to Completions and Commissioning
  • Manage technical queries, drawings registers and document control

About you

To be successful you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Minimum 1 years experience in a similar role within the Mining and Construction Industry
  • Hold a BE and AD in Electrical Engineering
  • Knowledge of LV power system modelling and light modelling software such as PowerCAD, AGI/Dialux
  • Should have practical experience with AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines with well-developed organisational skills.
  • Positive, can-do attitude, team player and strong work ethic.
