About the Role
From small events to large scale events, virtual to face-to-face, this role will immerse you in all aspects of the event
management and delivery within a dynamic experienced events team.

The Event Administration Officer is responsible for supporting the events team to effectively deliver PSA events
including conferences, Intern Training Program workshops, immunisation training practical workshops and other minor
events that support PSA initiatives and revenue-generating activity relating to PSA's education and training products.

The role is Part-Time (22.5hrs per week) based in Sydney and reports to and works under the direction of the Events
Manager.

The role will require strong collaboration with internal stakeholders to deliver events in line with customer expectations
and contribute to ongoing improvement throughout the event delivery framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Coordinate delivery of Intern Training Program workshops, immunisation practical workshops and other minor events according to the product (event) brief and PSA management processes:

a. Ensure events are delivered according to KPIs
b. Resolve customer queries and requests related to events including registration
c. Assist in the planning and preparation of events
d. Manage speakers and facilitators including content and contract preparation
e. Select and book venue, catering and AV hire and coordinate event requirements
f. Book travel and accommodation (as required)
g. Prepare event materials and purchase consumables
h. Support and coordinate webinars through zoom
i. Assist in the management of event registrations through Salesforce and Events Air
j. Cancel or reschedule events (as required)
k. Work through the state-based teams and volunteers to manage and conduct events and perform pre-and post-event
activities
l. Prepare accounts for payment following company financial processes
m. Other event administration as required.

  • Contribute to product (event) evaluation in collaboration with other parts of the value chain to measure success and
  • foster a culture of process enhancement and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate the online event booking system.
  • Deliver superior customer service to PSA members and potential members, and contribute to increased levels of
  • member retention and engagement with the profession.
