Your role
- An opportunity to join the business management team.
- The Landscape Maintenance Coordinator is a fully hands-on role.
- You will be coordinating maintenance work, working with their maintenance crews, and working with the Estimator to build the maintenance portfolio of the business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Coordinating maintenance work upon completion of their construction projects.
- Coordinating maintenance on equipment such as ride-on mowers, brush cutters, and other powered maintenance/construction equipment. This may include hands-on repairs.
- Maintaining and building the maintenance portfolio and seeking additional work and clients.
- Maintaining a positive relationship with clients, consultants, workers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Assisting with establishing, implementing, encouraging, and monitoring a culture of safety on site.
Essential criteria for the ideal candidate include:
- Completion of (or nearing) a horticulture or Cert III Parks & Gardens TAFE course.
- 2 years experience within a landscape maintenance role (ideally suited to a 4th-year apprentice nearing completion of their trade).
- General Construction Induction card (White card).
- Current manual driver's license with clean driving record.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Independent. A self-starter with the ability to manage their own workload and time.
- Flexible.
- Mechanically minded (preferred but not required).
- Well-presented.
- Willing to continually learn and improve on the job.
- Passionate about landscaping.
