Pepo Botanic Design (www.pepo.com.au) is a team of landscape designers, landscape architects, horticulturists and garden installation professionals. The company is located in the eastern suburbs of Sydney and is currently looking for experienced Horticulturists and a Team Leader to join our team.

Pepo Botanic Design has been maintaining gardens since 2000 and many of Pepo's first clients remain with us to this day. As well as being passionate about developing gardens and making sure they are healthy and look fantastic, we believe that organisation and clear communication are key to ensuring our clients can enjoy their gardens to their full potential.

The candidates would be working in a team of two, and be able to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner with meticulous attention to detail. Tasks will include detailed garden maintenance as well as the installation of small gardens following a plant design.

Essential

  • Enthusiastic, passionate and self-motivated
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate efficiently, respectfully and effectively with our landscape designers, clients and other horticulture team members.
  • The ability to carry out all gardening tasks associated with residential gardens.
  • Knowledge of plants, pests and diseases
  • Have a keen eye for detail
  • Horticulture qualifications (or currently studying Horticulture)
  • White card

Preferred

  • Current Drivers Licence (manual)
  • 3 years + industry experience
  • The ability to carry out basic administrative tasks
  • General knowledge of irrigation
  • Knowledge of seasonal tasks eg soil improvement

General

  • Skills in hedging, pruning, and general garden maintenance
  • Ability to use all tools including hand and small motorised
  • Cleaning and care of equipment
  • Follow instructions and understand all OH&S procedures and requirements
