We are currently seeking a Full or Part-Time Trainee to complete a Certificate III in Children's Services at Pennant Hills Preschool. We are a preschool and long daycare centre, serving the local community for over 35 years. The centre operates from 7.30 am to 6.00 pm. Traineeships offer on the job training.

The full-time traineeship term is one year and the part-time traineeship two years with possible early completion. The part-time trainees will be working a minimum of 15 hours per week and full-time at 38 hours. While on the job training, you will be responsible for assisting the team in providing quality care for children ages 8 months to 5 years old.

This traineeship is most suited to a dedicated person who likes to learn through a hands-on approach and ideal opportunity for school leavers. There are experienced Early Childhood Teachers and Educational Leader's to support you in your training. Our service is fully accredited. We have strong values and quality standards ratings exceeding the National Quality Standards in Educational program & practice and relationship with children.

On completion of the traineeship, you will have gained 1 to 2 year's of valuable experience in the Early Childhood industry and have obtained a Certificate III in Children Services with the potential to continue your traineeship to a Diploma in Children Services.

Prerequisites:

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Have a caring nature for children.
  • Willingness to learn and work in a team.
  • To qualify for a traineeship, the candidate must NOT have completed any prior qualification in childcare after high school or other traineeships and must obtain the new NSW Working With Children check.
