About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our OOSH team at PCYC. In this varied and flexible role, classified as Children Activities Officer under our Enterprise Agreement, you will be providing positive, fun and creative experiences to children from kindergarten to year 6, and:

  • Work as part of a team to deliver fun, interactive, engaging and safe group classes
  • Organise games and activities, including physical and creative aspects
  • Provide customer service and membership administration duties, as required

About You

Are you a passionate person and have flexibility to work mornings and afternoons? As well as,

  • Do you have the ability to obtain a compliant Working With Children Check and National Police Check?
  • Do you have a First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain prior to employment)?
  • Do you have a First Aid & CPR certification, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification (HLTAID012)?
  • Do you have a Identify and Respond to Children and Young people at risk certification (CHCPRT001)?
  • Do you have knowledge and experience in a OOSH setting (desirable but not essential)?
