If you are coming to the end of your engineering (Mechanical Trade) course, this may be an exciting next step for your career.
In this position, your responsibilities include:
- You will work with multiple teams to ensure wagon maintenance tasks are carried out and meet company plans.
- Duties include scheduled maintenance, inspection work, out-of-course repairs, and responding to emergency recoveries on the rail network.
Other duties include but are not limited to:
- Fabrication and assembly
- Wagon movement in the maintenance area
- Activities such as welding, cutting, and heating
- Operating mobile plant, equipment, vehicles, and lifting equipment within the work area
