About us

The Orange Blossom Family has been offering our professional 'privately family owned' service since 2019. We are a 36-place modern purpose-built centre with two rooms catering to children from 2 years. We work closely with our team to support them throughout all aspects of the service.

We are looking for two full time/ part-time Diploma trained or Certificate III passionate, experienced Educators for our beautiful modern classrooms who align with our philosophies and provide engaging educational programs for the children. This position is for an enthusiastic educator that aims to deliver high quality and inclusive learning programs using contemporary teaching theories, strategies and styles, knowledge of child development and alignment to the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS).

Our centre is open between 7 am-6 pm. Our natural theme throughout the building creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere as you walk through all our spaces. We pride ourselves in delivering a professional service that helps the little minds of our future develop and grow into beautiful little human beings with self-confidence

About the Role

Work as a team to support children's learning and development outcomes with the following imperative areas to focus on:

  • Design and implement engaging learning programs using content, curriculum, children's needs, assessment and documenting requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan, evaluate and enhance learning outcomes for children.
  • Develop engaging and inclusive learning environments that reflect all children's strengths, interests, and needs.
  • Develop, select and use a range of informal, formal, diagnostic, formative and summative assessment strategies to assess children's learning and maintain high-quality pedagogical documentation.
  • Establish and maintain respectful, collaborative partnerships with families to assess and support children's learning and wellbeing.
  • Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members.
  • Contribute to a professional and positive work culture;

Skills and Requirements

  • Hold a Diploma or cert III in Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
  • Available Full time/5 days a week OR 4 long days a week.;
  • Good sound knowledge of EYLF and Programming essential
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Updated First Aid Cert HLTAID004 & updated CPR preferable
  • Double Vaccination Certificate
