Graduate Entry Level Role - Manufacturing and Food & Beverage Industry

The Role (Morning Shift starting at 6am – 2pm OR an Afternoon Shift of 2pm to 10pm)

In this role, you will play a key part in safely and efficiently operating and maintaining production equipment to uphold high standards of product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the maintenance of regulatory, company, and quality systems, including completion of operating logs, testing, and recording.
- Operate production equipment following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
- Record equipment checks and report malfunctions promptly.
- Minimise wastage of products, packaging, process inputs, time, and chemicals, and report any excessive wastage to the site manager.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and make necessary adjustments to ensure continuous operation.
- Achieve specified production schedules, documenting any deviations and providing reasons for variations.
- Ensure that all start-up and production changeovers adhere to verbal and written procedures.
- Notify and report any unusual issues that could potentially disrupt the operation's efficiency.
To be successful in this role, You will have
- A completed TAFE course or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
- Basic experience in a manufacturing, processing, or production environment (including through internships or work placements).
- Proficiency in reading and understanding technical documents and instructions.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Readiness to work flexible hours and overtime as required.
- Capacity to work autonomously while maintaining consistent collaboration with colleagues.
- Strong focus on detail with basic fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience in using hazard and incident reporting systems (advantageous but not essential).
- Desire to grow into a leadership capacity.
- Full Australian working rights are essential.
