About the opportunity

The WHS Compliance Coordinator reports to the State Safety Manager and is part of the national safety team at NXT Building group. In this highly rewarding role, your focus will be to build solid long-term relationships through the management of vendors (suppliers and trades) within NXT Building Group administration compliance processes and systems.

Main functions within the role are:

  • Reviewing vendor WHS documentation to ensure it meets NXT Group internal system requirements
  • Liaising with new and existing vendors and contractors to ensure ongoing compliance
  • Maintenance of vendor documentation and vendor database systems
  • Maintenance of WHS business compliance records and databases
  • Providing accurate and timely administrative support to the WHS Management team as required
  • Collaborative cross-functionally to implement improvements to the contractor experience and issue resolution process

About you

You will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values. In addition, you will demonstrate:

  • Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience within a Customer Service Administration role
  • Pride in all aspects of your work including a high attention to detail
  • Have strong verbal communication skills to ensure clarity and relationship building
  • The ability to clearly articulate compliance requirements to suppliers and contractors
  • Attention to detail, accurate reporting, and data input capabilities
  • Strong planning and organising skills
  • The ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing work agenda
  • Proficiency in or willingness to develop skills in Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • The ability to work autonomously within the role with minimal supervision
