Project Landscaper and Labourer Support

About the opportunity

The Landscape and Labourer Supporter works closely with the Construction Supervisors, reports to the Site and Project Managers and is part of the MJH Communities team. The key focus of this role is to undertake manual tasks on the project to help MJH deliver the scope of the contract. More specifically you will:

  • Managing and implementing the projects waste minimisation strategy
  • Placement of landscape materials to each house and working with a team to landscape the project
  • Install siltration control to required areas of the site and ensure it is maintained throughout the duration of the project
  • Install temporary downpipes once the fascia and gutter have been installed to assist manage stormwater run off
  • Be responsible for conducting a daily walk to assess the site for waste and document progress with reports to the Site Management team
  • Install site and sales signage and maintenance of signage
  • Undertake daily labour tasks to keep the site presentable and safe
  • Ensure tasks are undertaken in accordance with our safety procedures and company policies

About you

You will share a passion for our purpose to be Australia’s number one residential builder and be aligned to our core values. In addition, you will demonstrate:

  • General Construction Induction Certificate (White Card)
  • Current driver’s license for LR license class
  • Ability to meet physical demands for manual labour
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret plan and project documents
  • Ideally 2+ years of landscaping experience
  • Completion of nationally accredited course for Skid Steer and Excavator qualification (not essential)
