Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) is establishing an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Talent Pool for various roles across our various facilities and Community Health Centres, located within Sydney's Upper and Lower North Shore, Northern Beaches and Ryde LGA.

Interviews will be held Thursdays on a fortnightly basis.

Full Time, Part-Time, and Casual positions are available.

Candidates need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
  2. This is an Identified Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander Position. Applicants for this position must be of Aboriginal descent through parentage, identification as being Aboriginal and being accepted in the community as such. An applicant's race is a genuine occupational qualification and is authorised under Section 14(d) of the NSW Anti-Discrimination Act 1977
  3. Relevant experience and/or qualifications, and professional registration (if applicable)
  4. Demonstrated effective communication, both written and verbal
  5. Be able to work in a team environment as well as individually.
