What you'll be doing:
The Administrative Officer will support multiple teams – Intellectual Disability, Eating Disorders Services and LNS Community. This position is responsible for organising outpatient clinics, schedules, liaising with medical and allied health staff, sending all correspondence to patients, office logistics and management of meetings.
All NSW Health workers are required to have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine by 30 September 2021 and two doses by 30 November 2021 or have an approved medical contraindication certificate. You will be required to provide a record of your COVID-19 vaccination status if successful.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

- Demonstrated efficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, word processing (40 words/minute), and experience or willingness to learn new information systems including Cerner/eMR, Winc., Oracle, Health Roster.
- Experience in investigation and/or evaluation of legislation, regulations, or procedural guidelines and the development of health-related but non-clinical work processes and systems.
- Demonstrated ability to write reports, briefs, documents and correspondence, including drafting complex correspondence for senior staff, accurately and clearly, minute taking for various meetings.
- Proven ability to work both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team and current NSW Drivers Licence.
- Demonstrated understanding of NSW Health policies regarding patient confidentiality. Experience in carrying out inspections and monitoring functions to ensure outputs meet relevant standards and are of high quality.
