We are looking for a candidate preferably if you have just finished a TAFE course in graphic design and who is wanting to gain practical on-the-job experience.
Reporting to Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Completing the in-house graphic design and retail marketing requests and working under advertising marketing
- Working with and on customer orders for Signs & Brochures and other products and ensuring they align with their brand guidelines
- Design and assist with the delivery of email and social campaigns
- Designing and updating information for clients on their orders, sending proofs back to clients for their approval
- Saving & Sending artwork approvals ready for printing
- Speaking with clients on the phone
- Admin duties as an ‘office all-rounder’, including answering the office phone
- Printing of Artwork materials
To be successful you will be:
- Have experience in graphic design or at minimum studying graphic design
- Must be well-versed in creating for and delivering social, engaging content
- A conceptual thinker that can translate ideas into innovative designs
- Clear communicator with exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
- Have a precise eye for detail
- You will be proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud design tools (Adobe Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator) Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Reception duties and various administration tasks
- Providing first-class customer service, in person & over the phone
