Job Opportunity: Disability Support Worker

Location: Blacktown, NSW

Position: Casual Personal Support Worker

Fixed-term shifts

Mondays and Tuesdays - 7.30 am to 10.30am
Additional shifts may be offered

About the Client:

Our male client is a resilient individual navigating life with a need of high intensity supports. We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Female Disability Support Workers to assist with personal care, Peristeen bowel care, catheter care, meal preparation, general domestic duties and ensure his well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Medication Prompts: Provide timely reminders for medication to ensure adherence to prescribed schedules.
• Meal Planning: Assist in planning balanced and nutritious meals that meet dietary requirements and preferences.
• Personal Care: Showering, grooming, drying, dressing.
• Companionship: Offer companionship and engage in meaningful conversations and activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.

Experience Required:

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with the client and their support network.
