The opportunity
Nexia Sydney has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Accounts Payable Officer to join our growing firm within our Operations team.  

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Junior Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for assisting the Accounts Payable Officer to ensure that all creditors and monthly entries are processed promptly.
  
Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Entering and paying off all creditors
  • Preparing end-of-month entries for MYOB and monthly direct payments
  • Providing support to the Internal Finance team
  • Reconciling and processing corporate credit card expenditure
  • Proactively engage with internal clients, displaying courtesy and professionalism

About you

To be successful in this role you will:

  • have at least 1 years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably within a professional services environment;
  • be currently studying or completed an Accounting/Business qualification (TAFE, university or other certified course);
  • have experience using accounting software including APS, MYOB;
  • have strong communication skills, both written and oral;
  • be able to work effectively with different people in a professional and helpful manner; and
  • have excellent attention to detail
