The opportunity
Nexia Australia has an exciting opportunity for a Bookkeeper to join our growing firm within our Business Advisory team. This is an essential role to ensure all payroll and back office responsibilities for clients are prepared in a timely manner. 

With a team of 70 staff and 10 partners, Nexia's Business Advisory team are dynamic and are leading the way for the future of accounting. About you

To be successful in this role you will:

  • have at least 1 years' experience in a similar bookkeeping, payroll or accounts position (desirable);
  • have experience and a solid knowledge in payroll processes and calculations (desirable);
  • have exposure to a range of accounting systems and intermediate computer skills (including Word, Excel and data entry);
  • have completed an Accounting/Business & Finance diploma at TAFE or similar (desirable not essential);
  • be an enthusiastic team player, with a drive to take ownership and responsibility over your own work;
  • exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, with the confidence to liaise with stakeholders and clients;
  • be organised and able to manage your own priorities;
  • have a positive, helpful and solution driven mindset, and
  • have excellent attention to detail and a good understanding of numbers.
