Our Opportunity

Due to continued growth, NEPEAN Engineering & Innovation are seeking an experienced Toolmaker who will work on a variety of projects, including producing one-off production components. This position is a full-time permanent opportunity, based in Narellan NSW. 

Daily duties will include however are not limited to. 

• Performing manufacturing functions such as precision milling, turning, boring and drilling.
• Manufacture tools using a variety of machinery, including sample trials.
• Perform dimensional inspection and maintain correct orientation of products.
• Repair tools, jigs, fixtures and other precision parts and equipment to fine tolerances
• Take full responsibility for setting up, maintaining, and coding machinery.

Future opportunities within the group may also be presented for the right candidates.

The Right Person 

The ideal candidate will also have:

• Either successfully completed or currently completing their toolmaking certificate at TAFE
• Ability to operate manual machines including mills, lathes, drills, and saws.
• Exposure to CAD/CAM and Power Mill would be advantageous.
